      This video introduces us to the Remington Model 51, a well made Prohibition era xemi automatic pistol intended to compete (which it did very well) with Colt’s M1908 380 pistol. It was also produced in ,32 acp. Sadly by the 1930s the gun was withdrawn from the market, These pistols used a single stack magazine and fire from a locked breech. Genral Patton considered these to be among the finest personal defense pistols made and several photos exist of him carrying one.
