The title is self-explanatory. This particular specimen was assembled from various parts acquired from different sources over several years. The receiver and slide were initially in very poor condition but have been restored by polishing out the pitting. In 2005 NYC passed a law prohibiting the use of a Duracoat brand finish on any firearm in NYC. Since that legislation only banned that one companies paint in protest to an absurd legislation I used Krylon brand paint to create a finish similar to what Duracoat called Brooklyn Blue. This pistol will (hopefully) never go to NYC and the use of Krylon brand paint is merely a political commentary.
